FLOW METER

Used for measuring and monitoring liquid and gas flows in applications within water treatment, sealing water measurement and gas flow measurement.

The spring-loaded variable area flow meter (an extension of the variable area flow meter) uses a spring as the balancing force. This makes the flow meter independent of gravity, allowing it to be used in any plane, even upside-down.

Variable area flowmeters for measuring volumetric flow rates of liquids and Gases. The construction includes a tapered stainless-steel tube. A float with a magnet embedded in it, moves inside a tapered tube. The float is magnetically coupled with an indicating pointer assembly.

Variable Area Flow Meters or Rotameters utilise a conical flow tube and float where the increasing flow rate lifts the float higher in the tube and a reading can be determined by comparing the float height against a fixed scale on the tube.

Variable area flow meters are simple and versatile devices that operate at a relatively constant pressure drop and provide flow measurement of liquids, gases, and steam.

The flow meters with built in tappings and valves are designed for direct transmitter mounting for a wide range of gas, liquid and steam applications. They fit most pipe sizes and require low maintenance.
